Basketball Game Preview: Chandler Lions vs. Prague Red Devils

The Chandler Lions will square off against the Prague Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chandler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Prague likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Chandler didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Kellyville, but they still walked away with a 56-51 win.

Meanwhile, Prague won against Newkirk on Friday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Prague breezed by Newkirk to the tune of 67-38. Given the Red Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Tigers are ranked 418th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chandler's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Prague, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Chandler strolled past Prague in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 62-43. Does Chandler have another victory up their sleeve, or will Prague turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
