Beaver gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Milford Tigers 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Beaver was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Looking ahead, Beaver will square off against Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milford, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Tintic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
