            Basketball Preview: State College Little Lions vs. Central Dauphin East Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            The State College Little Lions will venture away from home to  square off against the Central Dauphin East Panthers  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. State College is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5  points per game  this season.
State College is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Harrisburg just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Friday. They fell  65-53 to the Cougars. While the Little Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars  17-8 in the first  quarter.
  Charlie Yartz put forth a good effort for the losing side as  he  posted 13  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reed Melvin, who  scored 13  points.
 Meanwhile, Central Dauphin East was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were one  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  66-65 heartbreaker at the hands of Altoona. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Wednesday (56), the Panthers still had to take the loss.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, State College  fell to 3-1. As for Central Dauphin East, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
 State College was able to grind out a solid  win over Central Dauphin East in their previous meeting  back in February, winning  59-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for State College since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
