Softball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview was the 15-4 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 9-5 to the Wildcats on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crestview got a massive performance out of Kaci Gregory, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Delaine Balliet was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Coming up, Crestview will be playing in front of their home fans against Paulding at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will head out to challenge Anna at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
