Softball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview was the 15-4 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crestview got a massive performance out of Kaci Gregory, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaine Balliet, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Crestview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against Celina on the 10th. As for Jefferson, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 loss against Anna on the 2nd.
