Football Preview: Moore County Raiders vs. Forrest Rockets        
        
		
             The Moore County Raiders will square off against the Forrest Rockets at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Moore County's defense has only allowed 14.1  points per game  this season, so Forrest's offense will have their work cut out for them.
 Moore County is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Huntland just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Friday. They and the Hornets were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered  a  20-19 loss.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Gavin Wise, who threw for 134 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 76 yards.  Isaac Petty was in the mix  as well, providing Moore County with two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile,  a  victory for Forrest just wasn't in the cards  last Friday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were beaten by Marion County 63-17. The  matchup marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring  match so far this season.
 Moore County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Forrest, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record  this season.
 Everything went Moore County's way against Forrest in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, as Moore County made off with  a  35-10 win. Will Moore County repeat their success,  or does  Forrest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
