Volleyball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Peoria Notre Dame Irish

The Princeton Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Peoria Notre Dame Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Princeton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Newman Central Catholic by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Princeton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Newman Central Catholic between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Princeton's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Camryn Driscoll, who had nine digs and three aces, and Ava Kyle, who had seven digs and one assist. That's the most aces Driscoll has posted since back in October.

Meanwhile, Peoria Notre Dame narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Mercer County 2-1.

Peoria Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Princeton, their win bumped their record up to 21-14.
