Football Recap: Mannford Pirates vs. Sulphur Bulldogs
Mannford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 59-0 loss at the hands of the Sulphur Bulldogs. The game marked the first time this year in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.
It was another big night for Maddax Mobly, who rushed for 100 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries for Sulphur.
Mannford's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Sulphur, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Mannford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sulphur, they will take on Kingfisher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
