Citrus Hill extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jerren White. The Hawks walked away with a 65-58 victory over the Beaumont Cougars on Friday thanks in part to White, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 36 times he's played.

Despite the defeat, Beaumont saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zion Diorio shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points along with seven boards and three steals. Nathan Brickman was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Citrus Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Beaumont, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Citrus Hill has already played their next contest, a 71-53 defeat against Summit on the 22nd. As for Beaumont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-41 victory against Moreno Valley on the 22nd.
