Brady Smith, Biggs's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Friday. Smith was unstoppable, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Biggs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Smith's strong effort led Biggs over Weed and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Biggs is a perfect 3-0 against Weed going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
