Baseball Recap: Belleville Comes Up Short

Belleville was the 9-6 winner over Mineral Point when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 5-2 to the Pointers on Monday.

Belleville dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mineral Point, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Belleville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-3 victory against Marshall on the 22nd. Mineral Point has also already played their next game (against Potosi/Cassville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
