Volleyball Recap: Rocky River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rocky River lost against Providence back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ravens lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-15.

Ellie Rinehardt went supernova For Providence., getting 18 assists and six aces. Those six aces gave Rinehardt a new career-high. Niamh Mahon also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Providence, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Rocky River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Ardrey Kell on the 29th. As for Providence, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against East Mecklenburg on the 29th.
