Volleyball Recap: Smyrna's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Smyrna hadn't done well against Rockvale recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over Rockvale. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kierstan Blocker paced Smyrna's offense, picking up six kills. Blocker got some help from Ava Francis and her 14 assists. Somaia Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Smyrna now has a winning record of 3-2.

Smyrna has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Stewarts Creek on the 23rd. As for Rockvale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Blackman on the 23rd.
