Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Branham Bruins. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bruins when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Branham, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Santa Clara on the 6th. As for Branham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hollister on the 6th.
