Basketball Game Preview: West Clermont Wolves vs. Turpin Spartans

The West Clermont Wolves will face off against the Turpin Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West Clermont will be strutting in after a victory while Turpin will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, West Clermont didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Little Miami, but they still walked away with a 40-35 win.

Meanwhile, Turpin lost to Kings at home by a 59-43 margin on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Knights are ranked 270th).

Turpin dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for West Clermont, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Everything came up roses for West Clermont against Turpin when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-22 win. Does West Clermont have another victory up their sleeve, or will Turpin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
