Basketball Recap: Mae Jemison Comes Up Short

Mae Jemison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Black Bears. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Black Bears earlier this season, when they won 41-35.

Mae Jemison now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Austin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mae Jemison will challenge Hazel Green at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
