The Comets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Albemarle Bulldogs with plenty of help from Kimrey, who had five digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: North Stanly took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-12.
North Stanly's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Albemarle, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
