Wheeling Central Catholic never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Williamstown on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-13 victory over the Yellowjackets. For the Maroon Knights, this counts as revenge for the 29-21 win the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Kade Koroneos was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 148 yards and four scores. Max Olejasz made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Despite the loss, Williamstown still got an impressive performance from Breck Allen, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 142 yards and one touchdown.

Wheeling Central Catholic now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Williamstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wheeling Central Catholic and Williamstown will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Maroon Knights will face off against rival Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th. Meanwhile, Williamstown is set to take on their familiar foe Roane County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
