There's no place like home for Mendez, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Contreras Cobras with a sharp 4-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Jaguars have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Contreras with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hector Chanquin (2), Angel Chavez, and Luis Coronado.

Mendez's win bumped their record up to 9-3-3. As for Contreras, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Roybal the next time they take the pitch. Contreras will head out to face Roybal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mendez will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
