Littleton skates past Sand Creek with ease

The Littleton Lions's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They blew past Sand Creek 75-8 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-3.
Littleton had a senior duo take command as Penny Urquhart dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds and Jacy Chandler dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Urquhart has scored at least 25% of Littleton's points. Erica Levene was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 4 steals.
Littleton's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Sand Creek, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Littleton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Berthoud at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Sand Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
