Baseball Game Preview: Lockhart Lions vs. Cedar Park Timberwolves

Lockhart is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Cedar Park a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Lockhart Lions will welcome the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Lockhart has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lockhart lost 14-7 to Hays on Friday.

Jesse Flores and Weston Phillips stepped up to the plate in a big way. Flores scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Phillips scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Cedar Park came up short against Rouse on Friday and fell 4-1.

Cedar Park's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Lockhart, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
