After a string of six wins, Chandler's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 14-4 to the Stroud Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Stroud, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

Coming up, Chandler will challenge Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Royals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stroud, they will take on Wetumka at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chieftains have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.76 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
