Softball Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short

Central Valley lost against University back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bears lost 20-1 to the Titans. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Central Valley's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-3-1. As for University, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Mt. Spokane at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, University will challenge rival Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
