Volleyball Recap: Keenan Yang Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Oakdale

East Union won the last time they faced Oakdale and things went their way on Wednesday too. The East Union Lancers were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Oakdale Mustangs.

East Union walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-17.

East Union got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keenan Yang out in front who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Yang has posted since back in February.

East Union now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Oakdale, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Union will challenge Patterson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakdale, they will square off against Tracy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
