Basketball Recap: Johnson County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Johnson County had won two straight games and MacKenzie McClain did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Longhorns walked away with a 58-45 victory over the KACHEA Wildcats with plenty of help from McClain, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Her big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Shayla Sileo, who posted seven points. Those points were her first of the season.

Johnson County's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for KACHEA, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Johnson County has already played their next contest, a 58-54 defeat against South Greene on the 20th. KACHEA has also already played their next game (against Cornerstone Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
