Basketball Recap: Harmony School of Innovation Takes a Loss

Harmony School of Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 111-41 loss at the hands of the Almeta Crawford Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1453rd, while the Chargers are ranked 309th).

Almeta Crawford found their leader in sophomore Alvin Mosley, who went 14 of 20 on his way to 32 points and four steals. The matchup was Mosley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kevin Green was another key player, going 6 for 8 en route to 20 points and seven steals.

Harmony School of Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Almeta Crawford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Harmony School of Innovation wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 91-24 loss against Stafford on the 23rd. Almeta Crawford has also already played their next match, a 67-39 win against Fort Bend Willowridge on the 24th.
