Alyssa Ochoa Game Report: @ Mary Star of the Sea

Alyssa Ochoa was a major factor in Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary's victory over Mary Star of the Sea on Tuesday. Ochoa produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Ochoa and Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary will be playing at home against Ramona Convent at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ochoa has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 7.1 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Tigers have only allowed 3.93 per game this season.
