Florida Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past St. Edward's 70-44. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, North Tampa Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victor by a 66-40 margin over the Warriors. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Warriors are ranked 185th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Tampa Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Florida Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Toni Bryant, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. His evening made it 20 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Caleb Sanders was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

North Tampa Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Florida Prep's record is now 15-3. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, their record now sits at 21-6.
