Basketball Recap: Lapeer Comes Up Short

Lapeer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers, falling 61-38. If the Lightning were looking for revenge after losing 73-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lapeer's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Carman-Ainsworth, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

Lapeer has already played their next game (against Yale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Carman-Ainsworth will square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
