After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portal, Swainsboro was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Treutlen Vikings 83-34. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 55-25.

Swainsboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lj Morgan, who posted 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Franklyn Barnes was another key player, shooting 63% from the field to rack up 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

The win got Swainsboro back to even at 1-1. As for Treutlen, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Swainsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-54 victory against Jenkins on the 6th. As for Treutlen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-64 loss against Johnson County on the 6th.
