The biggest upset of the week belonged to Huron, who took down 224th ranked Huron, 27-13.
Perkins extended the longest winning streak in Sandusky Bay this week by beating Oak Harbor, 39-14. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Perkins' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brandon Smith threw for 139 and two touchdowns and Mitch Benkey had 50 yards receiving. On the ground Benkey chipped in 129 yards. Dale Irby helped Perkins' passing attack out by catching four balls for 47 yards.
Perkins' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pirates feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 1338 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Irby has 30 catches for 506 yards. Benkey leads the league in rushing with 937 yards.
Benkey of the Jason Ziegler's team is only 63 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
Clyde led the league in scoring this week after putting up 74 points on Port Clinton.
