Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers vs. Southwestern Spartans

The Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a rough 73-43 loss at the hands of Southwestern. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Indiana School for the Deaf in their matchups with Southwestern: they've now lost five in a row.

Indiana School for the Deaf lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jayden DeFalco, who scored 18 points. Jamiroquai Pickney was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.

Indiana School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Southwestern, their win bumped their record up to 2-14.

Indiana School for the Deaf's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pioneer at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Hopefully Indiana School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. As for Southwestern, they will be playing at home against Morristown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southwestern is facing Morristown at the right time seeing as Morristown is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
