Basketball Recap: Siuslaw Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Siuslaw Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the Santiam Christian Eagles and fell 56-54. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Siuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Santiam Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Siuslaw will square off against Toledo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santiam Christian, they will challenge Dayton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dayton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Santiam Christian likes a good challenge.
