Baseball Preview: Lake Country Lutheran Lightning vs. University School of Milwaukee Wildcats
For the second straight game, Lake Country Lutheran will face off against University School of Milwaukee. The Lightning will head out to face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Country Lutheran is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Lake Country Lutheran took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on University School of Milwaukee with a sharp 9-2 victory. The Lightning haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jack Poellot was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Lake Country Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for University School of Milwaukee, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
