Basketball Preview: Gruver Greyhounds vs. Sanford-Fritch Eagles
Gruver is 10-0 against the Eagles since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Gruver Greyhounds will be playing at home against the Sanford-Fritch Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Gruver will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Gruver got the win against the Kiowas by a conclusive 69-48.
Meanwhile, Sanford-Fritch didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Comanches on Friday, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win.
Gruver has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Sanford-Fritch, their win bumped their record up to an identical 15-11.
Gruver was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles when the teams last played back in January, winning 64-55. Will Gruver repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
