Volleyball Recap: LEE Comes Up Short at Home Against Canyon

LEE unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Canyon Cougars on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While LEE was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Canyon's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-17.

Canyon has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, LEE will be taking part in a tournament against Canyon Lake at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Canyon, they will take on Jersey Village in a tournament on Thursday.
