Baseball Recap: Wasilla Warriors vs. Colony Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Anchorage, Wasilla was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Colony Knights as they made off with a 16-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the game before.
Ramon Guzman made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 11 matchups.
