Oakland had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They put the hurt on the Fremont Tigers with a sharp 73-52 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 83-40 two weeks ago.

Oakland's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.
