Basketball Game Preview: McLane Highlanders vs. Madera Coyotes

The McLane Highlanders will head out to square off against the Madera Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

McLane is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Justin Garza just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Guardians.

Meanwhile, Madera had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 53-43 victory over the Stallions.

Madera is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for McLane, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

McLane came up short against Madera when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 48-43. Can McLane avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
