Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shawnee). They managed a 61-57 victory over the Marshall Bears on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Shawnee now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Marshall, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Shawnee and Guthrie will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shawnee is facing Guthrie at the right time seeing as Guthrie is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marshall, they will head out to challenge Altus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Altus likes a good challenge.
