Davenport strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the La Grange Leopards by a score of 2-0.

Davenport found their leader in sophomore Kylie Dahl, who had ten digs and two assists. Taylor Stumbaugh also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Davenport was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive games.

Davenport's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for La Grange, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Davenport and La Grange will both be playing Seguin the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Matadors at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Leopards will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
