South Anchorage came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the West Anchorage Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wolverines not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 16th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Anchorage took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-3, 25-5.

Leading South Anchorage to victory were Jessica Gieser and Indy Kmet. Gieser had ten digs and five assists, while Kmet hit 70.6% for 12 kills and nine digs and two aces. That's the most assists Gieser has posted over her last 13 matches. Loryn Peterson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: South Anchorage was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 37-3-1. As for West Anchorage, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-31-4.

As of now, neither South Anchorage nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
