Softball Recap: Corvian Community Cardinals vs. Christ the King Crusaders

Corvian Community won the last time they faced Christ the King and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals walked away with an 11-7 win over the Crusaders. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by exactly four runs.

Emily Johnson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Masten, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4.

Corvian Community always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory made it two in a row for Corvian Community and bumps their season record up to 2-7.
