Basketball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 79-45 loss at the hands of the Bullard Knights. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-18.

Hoover's loss came despite strong showings from Pamir Olivier and Josiah Williams. Olivier posted 14 points, while Williams earned ten points.

Hoover now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Bullard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

Hoover has already played their next game, a 62-60 defeat against Sunnyside on the 31st. As for Bullard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-57 loss against San Joaquin Memorial on the 31st.
