Football Recap: Big Foot Comes Up Short on the Road Against Whitewater

Big Foot had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 26-22 to the Whitewater Whippets. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Big Foot lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dawson Walter, who threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making one tackle and defending three passes. 81 of Walter's passing yards were hauled in by Isaiah Dye-Hamilton, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Coming up, Big Foot will welcome Harvard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitewater, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
