Superior kept a clean sheet against Spooner on Monday. They put the hurt on the Rails with a sharp 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Superior, who have now won nine contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Spooner with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Spencer Kidd (3), Marc Pagnucci, and Chase Danielson.

The win was the fourth in a row for Superior, bringing their record up to 12-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Spooner, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-1 record this season.

Superior will look to defend their home pitch on the 21st against Holmen at 5:00 p.m. As for Spooner, they will head out on the road to square off against Unity at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
