Volleyball Recap: Skyline Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Skyline extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 13-8-2. They blew past the Marionville Comets 3-0. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Comets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Tymber Pinon paced Skyline's offense, picking up 12 kills. Pinon got some help from Jenna Hunt and her 19 assists. Finally, Pinon was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

As for Marionville, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-11-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 18th.

Several Comets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Avi Bellah, who had 14 digs. Bellah has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Stover on the 13th. As for Marionville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Russellville on the 11th.
