Curie and Kennedy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Curie had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 1-0. The result was nothing new for Curie as the team haven't won a game since September 13th.

Curie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Kennedy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1-2.

Curie has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Glenbrook North on the 7th. As for Kennedy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 defeat against Payton College Prep on the 1st.
