Basketball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 54-47 to the Anderson County Mavericks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-28 back in December of 2024.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Anderson County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Scott will welcome Gibbs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gibbs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season. Anderson County has already played their next matchup (against Union County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
