Football Game Preview: WF West Bearcats vs. Franklin Pierce Cardinals + How To Watch

The WF West Bearcats will take on the Franklin Pierce Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

WF West is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Columbia River: they outscored them in every quarter. The Bearcats never let the Rapids get on the board and left with a 45-0 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bearcats.

Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Cedarcrest 42-7. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 159th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

WF West better keep an eye on Bryson Allen. He was instrumental in Franklin Pierce's win, rushing for 254 yards and four scores on only 15 carries. Allen also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending two passes. Another player making a difference was Anthony Lomiga, who rushed for 50 yards and one TD.

Franklin Pierce was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 359 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedarcrest only rushed for 75.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Franklin Pierce's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zeke Isaacson, Adam Cook, and Tevita Aholelei, who each picked up one sack apiece.

WF West's record is now 8-2. As for Franklin Pierce, their record now sits at an identical 8-2.

WF West strolled past Franklin Pierce in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 27-8. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Allen, who rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.
