Linganore had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Daveon Black did his part to make it ten on Friday. The Linganore Lancers strolled past the Towson Generals with points to spare, taking the game 68-53 thanks in part to Black, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Dylan Hodgson was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 16 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 12 games he's played.

Several Generals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Harris, who had 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Korey Collins, who put up nine points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Linganore is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. Towson has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Linganore has already played their next game, a 59-56 defeat against Tuscarora on the 18th. As for Towson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-36 victory against Carver A&T on the 19th.
